Meet Gus

Gus - the Asparagus Man made his debut to the world at the opening event of the 2008 British Asparagus Festival in the Vale of Evesham - The Great English Asparagus Run.

Resplendent in his green finery "Gus" treated the crowds in Abbey Park, Evesham to an unforgettable start to festivities as well as an introductory glimpse of the "Gus" antics that can be expected at events throughout this years Asparagus Festival.
